Endi’s Weekend Reading List #2

Hi guys. Welcome to another edition of our bi-monthly Weekend Reading List Series. Today. I’m going to put up 5 romance novels that I’ve read. I think you’ll enjoy them.

You can check out the last reading list here. Also, don’t forget that you can let me know the kind of books you like and I’ll try to put them up in the next reading list.

1. Undeniably His by Amanda Chayse

Endi's Weekend Reading #2

I loved this book, from the first word to the last. Yes, it had a few “is this even possible in real life” scenes but it was thoroughly enjoyable. The romance between Annabelle and Karin Davis was beautiful to read. The cut-throat nature of the corporate world was explored. Attempted murder, betrayals, trust issues, and so many more. This is a must read if you love romance and a little bit of drama.

2. Revved by Samantha Towle

OMG!! I love this book! I couldn’t put it down, not even to eat. Matter of fact, I didn’t leave my seat till I finished the book. Carrick Ryan’s first introduction in the book and Andressa’s aversion to race car drivers makes the love story inevitable. What I didn’t expect was the twists and turns in the novel. I found my self screaming “Oh my God, she didn’t!!” in so many scenes.

Carrick is the notorious bad boy of the racing world, Formula One. He has the money, the looks, and to top it off, an Irish accent. Andi is a beautiful tomboy whose dream job is to work as mechanic in the glamorous world of F1. Her golden rule is “no dating race car drivers”. You have to read the book to find out why.

Both Carrick and Andi are not prepared for the steaming, off-the-charts sparks and the undeniable compulsion that draws them together.

3. Before You by Lisa Cardiff

Endi's Weekend Reading List #2

I know I said I’ll try to avoid posting novels that are part of a series, but I couldn’t help it. This is book 1 in Lisa Cardiff’s Before You series. To be fair, I only found out that it was a series after I was done reading the book.

I’m kinda sitting on the fence with this one. Not that I didn’t enjoy it, I did, but the gullibility of the female lead Aubrey Keaton annoyed me and almost ruined it for me. It was exasperating to read. And the speed with which she jumped ship…yeah, eye rolling.

Aubrey has been dating Camden since childhood. Camden left their hometown for California to pursue his dream of becoming a musician. Audrey pays him a visit, and throughout the duration of her stay, she finds out that they are not as close and in love as she expected. The fact that Camden was cheating on her, and that Jax Carmichael, the lead singer, can’t take his eyes off her, makes it all intriguing and enjoyable.

4.Controlling Her by Kelly Favor

Endi's Weekend Reading List #2

I don’t know how I feel about this book, but since I read it, I’ve decided to share. Who knows, someone may like it. The scenes were just confusing, and it was as if the author was just focusing on Red Jameson’s battle of his feelings for Nicole Masters.

The billionaire business man has a dark side, a voracious sexual appetite, and his new obsession is the intern, Nicole. In the end, he must decide if Nicole is enough to make him give up his playboy life.

Just to let you know, this book is part of a series as well.

5. Alpha Owned by Milly Taiden

Endi's Weekend REading List #2

I love paranormal stories, so I thought it best to add this novella.

Ciara Ortiz, a human, is in love with Ryker Snow, a shifter, but she doesn’t think she’s good enough for him. Ryker has always been in love with Ciara but he fears that her insecurities will keep driving her away from him. After years of staying away from Ryker and her family, Ciara is finally coming home for her brother’s wedding and there’s no denying Ryker who intends to claim his mate.

So, there you have it folks. The books that I think you should read this weekend. Don’t forget to let me know if you enjoyed the books or if you are interested in other genres, outside of romance.

Also, don’t forget to share and subscribe to our mailing list. Have a great weekend, and always be kind to one another (in Ellen’s voice).

Love,
